Grants & Fellowship for Graduate School
Are you done with your B.A. and wondering about your next step? Wondering if you can afford going to a Master or Doctoral Program? Here are some links to websites that help identify grants and fellowships for Hispanic American/Latinos that want to attend programs such as Library Sciences, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields of graduate study. As a Puerto Rican, I was able to take advantanges of some of these opportunities and I hope some of you follow a graduate study path beyond your BA or find the support that you need to finish your graduate degree.

This page is useful to see list of available fellowships available to Hispanic students applying to a Hispanic-Serving Institution. - American Library Association Fellowships for Underrepresented Groups
The American Library Association offers several fellowships to attend library and information sciences schools to obtain either a MLIS or a PhD in library or archival sciences. Hispanic American are one groups supported by these grants. - Society of American Archivists (SAA) Mosaic Scholarship
To provide financial and mentoring support to minority students pursuing graduate education in archival science; to encourage students to pursue a career as an archivist; and to promote the diversification of the American archives profession. - SAA's F. Gerald Ham Scholarship
The purpose of the recently endowed fund is to provide financial support to graduate students in their second year of archival studies. Up to two scholarships of $7,500 each are available. - SAA's Harold T. Pinkett Minority Student Award

This award target minority undergraduate and graduate students, such as those of African, Asian, Latino or Native American descent, who, through scholastic and personal achievement manifest an interest archival sciences and the profession. - Project 1000
