  • The Institute of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies (PRLS) is an interdisciplinary research and teaching program with a comparative focus on the Puerto Rican, Mexican, and other Latin American & Caribbean-origin populations in CT and the US. It offers a minor in Puerto Rican and Latino studies too!
  • The Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center’s (PRLACC) is a safe space for students that offers educational, cultural, and social programs, which enhance student, faculty, and staff recruitment and retention as well as the multicultural climate in the UCONN community at Storrs.
  • The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) is the oldest area studies program in UCONN and New England and one of the many focus areas is migrations and transborder issues, which affect recent immigrants in the US.
