History Collections

The Homer Babbidge Library has an array of print and electonic resources to assist researchers in all areas of historical inquiry.  The library collections support the History Department's curriculum, which is divided into several categories: Early North American History, Modern United States History, Latin American & Caribbean History, European History, Ancient & Medieval History, Islamic & Middle Eastern History, African History, and Asian History. The Thomas J. Dodd Center is also a valuable resource, particularly in regards to New England history.

This guide provides resources specifically on American Indian history and on current affairs in the American Indian community.
