Where to practice Spanish?

The library doesn't offer language programs such as Rosetta Stone but we can refer you to some free online services or paid ones for your consideration. Also, consider visiting your local public library (near Storrs check the Mansfield Public Library or the WIllimantic Public Library) since sometimes they do offer language programs online for public library cardholder.

  • Multimedia Language Center  Icon
For those students taking languages courses at UConn, the lab offers many software, video and tutorials to support language learning, including Spanish.
  • Learn Spanish
Free site to learn and practice Spanish.
  • Livemocha
Online language community. Learn a language and connect with native speakers for instructive help. This is a commercial site and you need to sign in to get access to the many lessons available. Some lessons are free and other you need to pay for them. Good social media/online community to practice with native speakers.
